# CONVENTIONAL CAGES AND GRIDS FOR SMALL RODENTS

The cages are made of plastic materials that provide ideal conditions for keeping laboratory animals.

Many years of experience in development and production, combined with the materials used, as well as the design and handling, make these cages essential components in modern laboratory animal husbandry.

As synthetic materials are also developed in conjunction with others, materials with greater heat resistance and higher physical and chemical resistance have been added.

- Polysulfone/PSU, steam sterilizable up to 134°C.

- Polyethylenamide/PEI, steam sterilizable up to 143°C.

- Polyphenylsulfone/PPSU, steam sterilizable up to 143°C.

 

**Grates:**

The grids for covering the cages are made of 1.4301 / AISI 304 stainless steel bars and are subsequently electrolytically polished. The type and design of the feeding area are innovative. The outer wire frame of the cover provides excellent lateral stability when the cage is opened, and pulling the grid backward makes handling much easier. The wire spacing of the grid is 7 mm.

The stainless steel grids are available with a Swing **Clip **(locking clip) or a Frame **Clamp **(frame clamp); for use as an inner lid, or for use in cages with a filter lid.

Optionally, the feeding areas can be supplied with a removable divider or a divider with integrated hinges.
