# SAFETY CABINET FOR CYTOSTATICS &#8211; Model BSC-CITOSTATX.X

**AIR:**

- Partial air recirculation in accordance with regulations: 30% recirculation and 70% exhaust.

- The work area maintains laminar flow conditions with ISO 4 air purity (according to UNE EN ISO 14644) or Class 10 (according to Fed. Std. 209).

- The recirculated air is filtered through a ULPA U15 absolute filter (99.9995% MPPS efficiency) or HEPA H14 filter (99.995% MPPS efficiency), in accordance with UNE EN 1822, and is delivered to the work area at a velocity between 0.25 and 0.50 m/s (in accordance with UNE EN ISO 14644).

- The air expelled to the outside is filtered through a dedicated ULPA U15 or HEPA H14 absolute filter in accordance with the UNE EN 1822 standard.

- Protective barrier in the work area with a velocity greater than 0.50 m/s.

- The cabinet is **equipped with 3 FILTRATION STAGES**, ULPA U15 or HEPA H14 filters; **a fourth carbon filtration stage **with a specific HEPA or ULPA filter located beneath the work surface **may be added**, in accordance with applicable regulations

 

**CONSTRUCTION:**

- Work area constructed of AISI 304 stainless steel. **Optional: **AISI 316L.

- Sliding front glass panel with alarm position. Raises or lowers manually or electronically. Features an *anti-pinch* function with obstacle detection during glass closure.

- The safety opening glass is 5 mm thick with UV protection and anti-reflective coating, with an incline of up to 10° to facilitate the user’s viewing of the samples and provide a full view of the work surface.

- Glass with a special guide that improves sealing and safety during sliding.

- Microprocessor-controlled cabinet with updatable FLASH memory and an external display for easy viewing of the cabinet’s control parameters (speeds, flow rates, plenum pressure, exhaust barriers, humidity, temperature, etc.), along with an easy-to-use touchscreen featuring a security PASSWORD for controlling and powering on the unit.

- Alarms for detecting problems in the air supply system and the negative pressure protection barrier, as well as door openings, via voice alerts and/or visual indicators on the screen.

- Pre-installation for decontamination with Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP)

- Adjustable white LED lighting and UV-free.

- Operating voltage 110-220 V, 50/60 Hz. Maximum current consumption 3 A (approx. 450 W).

- The interior of the cabin includes a UV light; 2 IP 55-rated 110-220-volt electrical outlets for 1,000 W each (total 2,000 W).
