Description
The FHA series fume hoods are designed for modular laboratories where safe ventilation is required, minimizing exposure to and inhalation of chemical contaminants.
- Designed as a negative-pressure ventilation system that ensures the safety of operators and the laboratory environment.
- It operates by drawing in ambient air through the front opening of the hood and continuously venting it via an exhaust fan.
- It is constructed of epoxy-coated steel. The interior is constructed with high-grade melamine walls offering excellent resistance to acids and bases.
- The work surface is removable for easy cleaning and is constructed of phenolic material that is highly resistant to chemicals.
- Air is swept across the front at a speed > 0.4 m/s and expelled to the outside.
- Optionally, special activated carbon filters and absolute filters can be installed, depending on the contaminants to be retained. A duct can be connected to the outlet and extended up to 4 meters to the outside without the need for a booster fan.
- Operating voltage 220 V / 50 Hz. Optional 110 V / 60 Hz. Maximum current consumption 6 A (approx. 1300 W).
- It features a front panel with a bypass grille, designed to allow air to enter the unit even when the front window is closed, ensuring continuous ventilation.
- New design with a liquid collection tank behind the rear panel to collect residual liquid generated during the experiment.
- UV lamp for sterilization.
- Motorized sliding front glass panel.
- Microprocessor-controlled cabinet for adjusting airflow speed.
- The cabinet is equipped with an easy-to-use touch panel for controlling white/ultraviolet lighting, an internal power outlet, a gas valve, and parameters.
- Wheels for easy transport of the equipment.
- Air exhaust duct made of PVC and aluminum.
